1. Summary

  • No sign-up or login. The App has no account system.
  • Your photos stay only in your device's Photos library. The App does not upload photos, locations, or watermark text to our servers or any third party.
  • No third-party ads, analytics, or cross-app tracking SDKs.
  • We cannot see or access the photos you take or the information you enter.

3. Location data

  • Location is used only while the App is in use. There is no background tracking and no route history.
  • Address lookup: To turn coordinates into a readable address (city, district, street, landmark), the App uses Apple's location and geocoding services; coordinates are sent to Apple and handled under Apple's privacy policy. We do not receive them. Offline, no address is looked up and photos show coordinates only.
  • Location in photos: Saved photos include the capture location as metadata in addition to the visible stamp. When you share a photo, recipients may see when and where it was taken.

4. Data stored on your device

To save you typing, the App keeps on-device:

  • Watermark text you enter: title, project, company, area, notes, name, company / department, remarks, mood, etc.;
  • Preferences such as template, watermark style, position, size, background opacity, aspect ratio, dual-camera and collage settings.

Titles, moods and notes clear after 4 hours of inactivity (restorable). This data is not uploaded to our servers. Uninstalling the App deletes it; photos already saved to Photos are not affected.

5. Network use

The App goes online only for the following Apple system services—never our servers:

  • Address lookup (see Section 3);
  • The system handwriting font used by the Journal style, downloaded once by iOS from Apple on first use.

6. Information we collect

  • Through the App: None. The App is free with no in-app purchases.
  • When you email us: We receive your email address and message, used only to reply and deleted within a reasonable time after the issue is resolved.
  • From Apple: Apple may provide aggregated download statistics and, if you opt in to "Share with App Developers", crash reports. These do not identify you.

7. Sharing

We do not sell personal information and do not share your photos, locations, or watermark content. Photos are shared only when you choose to via the system share sheet; the recipient service's privacy policy then applies.

8. Photographing others

Photos may include other people's faces, license plates, house numbers, etc. Take and share photos only where lawful and with consent, and respect others' privacy.

9. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe we received such data in error.

10. Your rights

Manage Camera, Location, and Photos in system settings; delete photos in Photos; clear watermark text in the App. Additional rights may apply under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, etc.—email support@ubict.com.

We may update this policy; the date above will change on this page.
