NewFile — Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern NewFile (the "App") provided by Wujie Yibang (Fuzhou) Software Technology Co., Ltd. ("we"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

The App lets you create blank files in the current Finder folder and add your own files as templates to create independent copies. Built-in blank types and features depend on the shipped version.

The App only creates files per your actions; you are responsible for later editing, accuracy, and legality of content. The App is not legal, business, or other professional advice.

No account with us is required by default. Templates and preferences stay on-device; there is no first-party cloud sync in the current version. No ads.

2. License

We grant a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for lawful personal use on Macs you own or control. You may not misuse the App, reverse engineer it where prohibited, or remove legal notices.

3. Your files and conduct

You are solely responsible for template files you add, new files you create, and their contents. Ensure you have rights to use those files and comply with law and third-party licenses. We do not host or review your templates or created files.

Auto-numbering aims to avoid overwrites; still confirm the target folder before important operations.

4. Data and devices

You manage on-device data and backups. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of templates or settings from OS updates, storage limits, permission changes, device issues, or uninstall.

5. Disclaimers and liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the App (if any) or the minimum required by law.
